R. Thomas Murphy

Mr. Murphy has practiced law in Franklin County, Pennsylvania since 1994. He is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia where he majored in History and Political Science. Following graduation from Drexel, he attended the Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg. Mr. Murphy has worked as a Trust Officer with M&T Bank providing estate and financial planning and administration as well as trust administration.

Professionally, Tom is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee. He is a speaker for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on the topic of Elder Law. He limits his practice to Elder Law, Estate Planning, Administration and Probate, Wills and Trusts as well as Real Estate Law.

Mr. Murphy also participates on a weekly televised panel discussion - Contemporary Retirement - that is broadcast on Hagerstown Channel 25 Sunday mornings at 7:30 a.m.
